GENIAL COMPLETE

consists of a variety of different raw materials that are selected and processed
to the highest quality standards. Particular attention is paid to bioavailability
(how well and quickly the micronutrient can be absorbed), compatibility and purity.

BIOLOGICAL OR PHARMACEUTICAL SOURCES?

Vitamins and minerals can be obtained from various sources. On the one hand, there is the pharmaceutical production, in which the vitamins, minerals and salts are produced in chemical reactions and then purified. On the other hand, there are natural, biological sources. Frequently, plants containing a high concentration of these micronutrients are harvested and then concentrated.

The resulting extract is then highly enriched in the desired vitamin. Pharmaceutically produced as well as natural vitamins have their advantages and disadvantages. Pharmaceutically produced vitamins are usually higher in dose and longer stable in storage. Due to the higher dosage, you need less space during administration and thus reduce the required tablet size. In addition, they are very simple and precisely dosed as purely produced vitamins. As a disadvantage, they often have a lower bioavailability. This means that the intake of synthetically produced micronutrients is lower than that of biological sources.

Biological micronutrients have the advantage of better bioavailability, so they are absorbed faster and better into the body. They are usually better tolerated and a natural alternative because of their biological origin. As a disadvantage, even highly concentrated extracts still contain only small amounts of a specific vitamin. For this reason, a larger volume is needed to deliver a certain amount of a vitamin to the body. The tablet size is thus significantly larger, especially when adding several different vitamins and minerals.

GENial Calorie and GENial Complete take advantage of both sources and combine them into one product. Thus, a major part (about 80%) of the total micronutrients used are derived from biological sources. This results in a better bioavailability and better compatibility of the product. Disadvantage is unfortunately a larger volume of micro-transporters, which must be taken as a daily dose. For better long-term stability, reduced volume and more accurate dosage, some vitamins and minerals still use the highest standards of pharmaceutically-produced vitamins and minerals (about 20% of the total). In this way, GENial Calorie and GENial Complete have the benefits of both sources of micronutrients.

SEA MAGNESIUM AS A BIOAVAILABLE ALTERNATIVE

Instead of chemically produced magnesium salts, the magnesium used in GENIAL Complete is extracted from the purest seawater. As a result, it has better bioavailability and is free from contaminants.

Natural source of calcium and trace elements from calcified algae

Calcium, some magnesium, and some of the trace elements of GENial Calorie and GENIAL Complete are extracted in the North Atlantic Ocean from special calcified marine algae (Lithothamnion sp.). The algae grow in cold, pollution-free, mineral-rich waters and accumulate with increasing age with more and more pure minerals. After the calcified algae have been harvested, they are processed into natural, mineral-containing powder, which has a significantly higher bioavailability compared to chemically produced mineral salts.

In addition to the main components calcium and magnesium, this raw material also contains bioavailable trace elements such as selenium, boron, sodium, copper, iodine, nickel, zinc, iron, fluorine, cobalt and others in small quantities. Due to the pure waters of the plantations, the heavy metals are well below the alarming upper limits and by the natural cultivation of algae they contain no allergens, are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and contain no genetically modified organisms.
